Jeemca designed and built a stunning luxury vacation cottage on the serene shores of Muskoka Lake. This beautifully crafted home is designed for year-round enjoyment, with features perfectly suited for both summer and winter living. The cottage makes optimal use of its prime lakeside location, with the main house situated right next to the water, offering breathtaking views and direct boat access. Every detail of this vacation home is thoughtfully planned to combine luxury with practicality, ensuring a comfortable retreat no matter the season. Our project began with transforming the side yard of a North York bungalow into a warm, modern home within a year and on a limited budget. We focused on achieving the highest value by carefully selecting materials and design solutions, ensuring every detail was meticulously crafted.

The villa’s design embraces a modern, minimalist style. The exterior combines three-tone stucco with corrugated panels, adding both modernity and warmth through thoughtful color and material choices. The main floor features a 10-foot ceiling and an open-concept layout that seamlessly integrates the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The space is enhanced by linear lighting and a cathedral ceiling, creating a sleek, contemporary atmosphere.

We also added a third-floor loft, providing the owner with a creative and inspiring “mancave” retreat. This project showcases our ability to deliver high-quality, stylish homes, even with budget constraints.

We successfully delivered a home extension project in East York, enhancing a two-story house into a three-story modern residence. The project added nearly 1,700 sqft to the original 2,000 sqft home. The key challenges included working within a narrow lot, requiring careful planning for material delivery and construction. We reinforced and protected the original structure, especially during deep foundation work, ensuring safety for neighboring properties.

The exterior blends traditional and modern styles, seamlessly integrating new walls into the existing structure. The interior features an open-concept first floor, redesigned second-floor bedrooms with added space and walk-in closets, and a new third-floor master suite with a large bedroom, 5-piece bathroom, walk-in closet, and spacious terrace. This extension not only increased space but also significantly elevated the home’s comfort and modern appeal.

Jeemca was tasked with building a state-of-the-art laboratory, including HVAC RTU replacement, industrial demolition, and facility upgrades, with the significant challenge of creating a segregated radiological lab with a negative pressure environment (-15pa) to meet stringent Federal nuclear standards. We delivered comprehensive design and construction services, implementing a critical air handling system with HEPA filtration, air exhaust, HVAC, and a stand-alone AC system, all managed by a Building Automation System. An audible alarm ensures immediate response to any pressure failures. The completed laboratory achieved a robust 2H fire rating and adhered to strict nuclear safety codes, ensuring the highest level of safety for all stakeholders.
