CLIENT’S OBJECTIVE

Build a state-of-the-art laboratory facility, including HVAC RTU replacement, industrial demolition, and building enhancements.

Challenges

Creating a segregated radiological laboratory with a negative pressure (-15pa) environment for a Federal nuclear entity.

Our Solutions

We provided comprehensive design and construction services, including a critical air handling system with HEPA filtration, air exhaust, HVAC, and stand-alone local air conditioning, all coordinated by a Building Automation System. An audible alarm alerts in case of negative pressure failure.

Results & Impact

The laboratory achieved a robust 2H fire rating and met rigorous nuclear safety standards, ensuring stakeholder well-being.
